Warranty

Petzold’s does not hold the warranty for the boat or any of the products on the boat. The warranty is provided by the boat builder and/or the equipment manufacturer. For certain repairs, the boat may need to be brought back to Petzold’s service location in Portland, CT. Travel time is not covered by the warranty companies and may be billed separately unless the boat is brought to the dealership. Warranty repairs may also be performed by your local service provider with pre-approval from the manufacturer. Misuse of systems on the boat will not be covered under warranty. It is very important that all owners’ manuals have been read before submitting a warranty request to avoid extra costs. Please refer to the specific warranty documentation provided by the boat builder and equipment manufacturer for detailed coverage information.
