Most Loyal Customers at Petzold’s Marine

We love our customers
The Petzold Family recently had the pleasure of presenting Pat and Joe Gulino with an award for being our “Most Loyal Customers.” It all began in 1949 when Dr. Angelo Gulino took his 15 year old son Joe, to a boat show at Ocean Beach Park in New London. Dr. Gulino purchased his first boat, a 14’ Tomahawk Runabout complete with a 25 H.P. Evinrude motor and a Mastercraft Trailer for $1,500.00 from the founder of Petzold’s, Bill Petzold, Sr. and thus began Joe’s first customer experience with Petzold’s.
In 1966, Dr. Gulino returned to purchase a larger boat; a 31’ Trojan Sea Voyager Express Cruiser. Joe went on to marry Pat, and together they purchased the Trojan from Joe’s dad. Their love of boating hasn’t waivered, evidenced by the many boats thev’ve owned since, including the two they now enjoy. As in the past, we are still privileged to serve all their boating needs, including yearly winter storage.
In appreciation, it was our honor to present Joe and Pat with the “Most Loyal Customers” award along with a dozen roses and some Petzold swag. Members from our family also joined them for a celebratory lunch. The Gulino’s are, and always will be, part of the Petzold Family.
